Bhatkal: Two students drown in sea at Murudeshwar

Bhatkal, Oct 03, 2017 : In a tragic incident , two students who drowned  at Murudeshwar beach in Bhatkal taluk on Monday,  bodies were recovered on  October 03, Tuesday morning.

 

 

Ganesh Maasti Naik (12) and Nagaraj Nagesh Naik (14), residents of Shashihital village near Murudeshwar are identified as the deceased.

 

The incident happened on Monday evening when a group of students was playing in the sea. Two of them went on drowning due to the high tides. The search operation for the bodies was conducted for the whole night. However, their bodies were found today morning on the same beach.

Murudeshwar police are investigating the case.
