Bhasker Shetty eliminated with help of contract killers?

Udupi, Aug 31, 2016: The CID team which is investigating into the Udupi businessman Bhasker Shetty murder case has now reportedly suspected the hands of contract killers in the murder.

Sources reveal that  Shetty’s wife Rajeshwari  and son Navaneeth had  sought  the assistance of contract killers  in  executing the murder plot on the afternoon of July 28 when Shetty who was in the Hotel Durga International that day, later arrived home for bath.

It is gathered that the accused after using pepper spray to blind Shetty might have later taken him to some other place and eliminated him.

A cock and bull story : Meanwhile, it has been reportedly gathered that the accused priest Niranjan Bhat of Nandalike who was  an acquaintance of Rajeshwari and Navaneeth had only tried to mislead investigation by  spinning a cock and bull tale   that the body of Shetty was burnt in the Homa Kunda and that the remains were dumped in the river. It is believed that he might have just  thrown petrol cans and other things to the river to fool the cops.

As  the CID cops have so far not gathered any substantive evidence to prove the murder of Shetty, they  are now undertaking a second round of investigation.  It is also said that the team was likely to interrogate a close relative of Shetty who was in charge of the latter’s business affairs.

Bhasker Shetty’s will found?

Meanwhile, in another development, sources have revealed that the CID  officers have laid hands on a will which Bhasker Shetty had executed a few days before his murder. It is learnt, as per the will, his  overseas property  has been bequeathed to his brothers while the property in Udupi has been given to his mother Gulabi Shetty.

It is not yet clear as to whether the accused were aware of the will of Bhasker Shetty.
