Bhandary Foundation celebrates Foundation Day

Mangalore, Nov 21: The Bhandary Foundation celebrated its Foundation Day at Sahyadri Campus, Adyar, Mangalore, today. The foundation is now 7 years old.

Ashwini Nachappa, the guest of honor said, “We see so many great leaders and politicians failing to lead the country efficiently. This is due to lack of proper training. The students of the present must consider it their duty to become responsible citizens and leaders of the future, with the ability to lead the country toward peace and prosperity. Right now, we are fighting in the name of religion and language; but this must not be permitted because it wrecks societal peace.”

Later, she honored sports persons for their excellency at the VTU level.

Dr. Vijaya Prakash, the commissioner of Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) was the chief guest. Manjunath Bhandary, the founder of Bhandhary Foundation, presided over the function.

Prasanna Bhandary; Dr. D L Prabhakar, the principal of engineering and college of management; Irvine Veigas, the principal of Nursing College; and Benedicta, the principal of Nursing School, were also present on the dais.
