Bhajrangdal warns of protest against Dr Zakir Naik’s visit to district

Mangaluru, Dec 17, 2015:  Bhajrangdal Divisional Co-ordinator  Muralikrishna Hasanthadka   has warned that the VHP and Bhajrangdal will  lodge complaints seeking  to prevent the visit of Islamic scholar  Dr Zakir Naik to the district. It has already lodged four complaints in different places and many more will be lodged, he warned.

Speaking to reporters here on December 16, Wednesday, he  demanded that Dr Zakir’s visit to the district should not be allowed if peace has to prevail. He also warned of severe protest if the administration permitted Dr Zakir.

 The Hindu outfits also will hold a Hindu Samajotsava which will be  participated by VHP leader Praveen Togadia,he informed. He also stated that Togadia will even visit the residence of Kuttappa in Madikeri who was killed during the Tipu Jayanthi clashes.

 As part of Datta Mala Abhiyana a Sankeerthana Yatra will be taken out from  PVS Circle to Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple on December 23 at 10 pm, he informed adding  the Abhiyana  will commence  from Mangaladevi Temple in Mangaluru and Yadapadavu Sri Rama Bhajana Mandir at Chikkamagaluru.

Nearly 15000 people from the district including 3000 from Mangaluru will participate in the Abhiyana, he added.
