Karkala, Jan 29, 2015: The greatest respect which we can accord to Bhagavan Bahubali, the embodiment of peace, harmony and non-violence is by shunning all barriers of caste and creed and live in a spirit of brotherhood, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
He was presiding over a religious programme held on the eighth day of the Karkala Shree Bhagavan Bahubali Swami Mahamastakabhisheka here on January 28, Wednesday.
Man can live in peace and harmony only when there is love, trust and respect for each other, the Chief Minister said and added that social injustice is done by humans and not by Dharma. He also stated that the state government was making every possible effort to ensure social justice.
Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala who also spoke said Karnataka has since long known to be a peaceful state and it needs to continue to be a peaceful state even in the future. The messages of Bhagavan Bahubali are relevant at all times, he said.
