Belthangady : Youth killed by father, brother

Belthangady, Feb 12, 2018: A youth has been brutally hacked by his very own father and brother at Matla in Kasba village of Belthangady taluk on February 11, Monday. The victim has been identified as Naveen while the  accused are Manjunath and his son Raghavendra. Both the accused have been  arrested by the police.

The duo resorted to this heinous act following a quarrel while dinner on Sunday night. It is stated  that Raghavendra was waiting  for an opportune time to target Naveen who had reportedly manhandled  his father on New Year eve  after a quarrel over a trivial reason.

On Sunday night both Raghavendra and Manjunath pounced on Naveen and inflicted  serious injuries  on him with a knife killing him on the spot.

The deceased Naveen is survived by his wife and two  children. Belthangady Police are conducting the investigations.
