Belthangady: Wild elephant attacks car on Kakkinje-Neriya Road

Belthangady, Nov 28, 2023: A car was attacked by a wild elephant on the Kakkinje-Neriya Road on November 27, Monday night.

 

The occupants of the car on seeing the elephant had parked the car on the roadside. The elephant which came closer to the car had lifted the front portion of the car. Two of the passengers in the car have sustained injuries. There were a total of six passengers in the car.

Locals had seen a wild elephant roaming in Totathadi village since morning. Forest officials have visited the spot. The incident has sparked fears among locals.
