Belthangady : Two persons including 8 yr boy drown in Phalguni river

Belthangady, March 26, 2020:  A 22 year old youth and an eight year old boy drowned accidentally in  the Phalguni river at Kodingeri on March 26, Thursday. The deceased are Vasudev, son of Mahabala Poojary and Ishan, son of Sadhu Poojary of Konaje Kodinja  in Shirthady village.

 

 It is said the duo had been to the house of Sunil of Hosangady village when the tragedy occurred.  The two had been to the fields close by the Phalguni river banks and subsequently went missing. A frantic search was later launched  when the two were found dead in the  river bank beneath a rock.

Venoor Police are investigating the case.
