Belthangady: Son kills alcoholic father in fit of anger

Belthangady, Oct 5,2014: In a shocking case reported from Maddadka in Belthangady on October 3, Friday night, a young man  turned brutal enough to kill his very own father by strangling him with a rope. The murder came to light the next day when  the wife of the dead man who had gone to their daughter’s house  returned  home.

The deceased is Mohammad (55), while the accused is 21 year old Saddam who is  one of the seven children of the former. Sources said Mohammad was an alcoholic who always  picked up quarrel with Saddam.

However, on the fateful night of October 3, Saddam in a fit of anger used a rope to strangle his father to death.

The accused son has been arrested and investigations are underway.
