Belthangady : MESCOM lineman electrocuted

Belthangady, June 27, 2020:   A MESCOM lineman was electrocuted while on duty at Piligudu near here on June 27, Saturday morning.

The deceased  is Basavaraju Kattapara (25) attached to the Kalleri MESCOM sub-division. He hailed from Indi taluk in Bijapur district.

Basavaraju was engaged in some maintenance works of a hi-tension line when tragedy struck.  He died on the spot.

A case has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station.
