Belthangady : Elderly man hacked to death by two sons

Belthangady, June 15, 2020:    An elderly man was hacked to death by his own sons  over a trivial issue at a place called Anepalla in Karaya village of Belthangady late night on Sunday.

 

The deceased man is Dharnappa Poojary (65). Uppinangady police have arrested the two accused sons Monappa and Naveena.

It is learnt that the father and sons used to quarrel frequently over the issue of  Dharnappa selling coconuts and tender coconuts plucked from the trees in their own backyard. On Sunday night too,  they had a quarrel over the same issue culminating in the murder.
