Belthangady : 3 die as tree falls over them while axing

Belthangady, Mar 09, 2021:     In a tragic incident three men  lost their lives when the tree which they were cutting accidentally fell over them at Kayila near Anaru of Patrame village in Belthangady taluk on March 9, Tuesday afternoon.

 

The deceased are Swastik (23), Prashanth (21) of Patrame and Ganesh (38) of Uppinangady.

The three were cutting a Dhoopa tree in the plantation of Lokaiah Gowda  when  they fell under the huge tree branch that rolled over them.

Dharmasthala  Police have rushed to the spot.
