Belthangady : 3 arrested in Peter murder case

Belthangady, Feb 29, 2016 : Police who are investigating the case wherein  MJ Peter (38)  of Thotattady village  here  was hacked to death by an angry mob, have arrested three persons in this connection.

Those arrested are M A Thomas (54) from Thotatthady, Saju Thomas (38) and Antony M J (54) also from Neriya.

  Police  have meanwhile launched a search for the other accused in this case.

The incident had taken place on the evening of February 15. Though initially it was believed that Peter was killed by some  angry public as he was a trouble monger, later it had come to light that a property dispute had led to his murder.

A  special team was investigating the case under the direction of the ASP VIncent  Shanthakumar.
