Beltangady: Man dies after car loses control and hits barrier

Beltangady, Mar 30, 2024: A driver lost control of his car near Shakti Nagar in Guruwayanakare on March 29, Friday and collided with a barrier causing death of the driver and two people in the car were injured.

 

The car, bound from Moodbidri to Belthangady, veered off course and collided with a barricade, causing it to overturn. The driver, identified as Price Mathew (32), son of Vivi Mathew from Layla Morning Star, succumbed to the accident, while two others sustained injuries.

Prompt response from the Beltangady traffic police ensued, initiating an investigation into the incident. The body of the deceased has been transferred to the Beltangadi Government Hospital.
