Beary-Kannada- English Lexicon to be released on July 31

Mangaluru, Jul 27, 2017  : A Beary-Kannada-English Lexicon will be released by DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai at a function to be held at Town Hall on July 31.

 

This was informed to reporters here on July 27, Thursday by Beary Sahitya Academy President  B A Mohammad Haneef.

 Haneef informed that the  function will be inaugurated by renowned writer Dr Aravinda Malagatti. State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies will release  a special bulletin ’Belkiri’  while  BA Moidin will receive the first copy of the Lexicon.

An inter district Duff contest will be held on the occasion, while achievers  in various fields will also be felicitated.

Editor of the Beary-Kannada-English Lexicon Prof. B M Ichlangodu,  Prof. Surendra Rao who assisted  in English translation, Academy Registrar Chandrahas Rai, Members Abdul Latif Neralakatte, Abdul Hameed Goltamajalu and others were present.
