Bava takes on Palemar; dares him to prove ’commission’ charges

Mangaluru, Dec 30, 2016:  Mangaluru North MLA  BA Moidin Bava has taken strong exception to the allegations made by former minister Krishna Palemar  that he had collected 15 per cent commission on the grants sanctioned to his constituency. Bava challenged Palemar to prove the allegations and also declared that he was  even ready for a public debate issue.

Speaking to reporters here on December 29, Thursday, Bava also recollected how Palemar used to earlier claim that he (Bava) has failed to get projects sanctioned for his constituency."Now Palemar by levelling charges of me receiving commission has himself proved that I have got developmental works sanctioned for my constituency," said Bava. He also described Palemar’s allegation of commission as baseless.

Bava further claimed that as many as 24 community halls for backward classes and 22 Ambedkar Bhavans have been sanctioned during his tenure.
