Bantwal: Truck rams into compound wall, catches fire

Bantwal, April 29, 2020:  A truck laden with poultry feed rammed the compound wall of the house and catches fire in Marnabailu near Melkar on Wednesday morning.

 

The truck driver Umesh and cleaner Ratan were injured in the incident has been admitted to aprivate hospital in Mangaluru.

The reason for the accident was suspected to be brake failure. Bantwal fire service personnel, who responded to the distress call quickly, were successful in preventing the truck from being reduced to ashes.
