Bantwal : Shivamogga man arrested for robbery

Bantwal, Aug 29 2018: Bantwal Town Police have arrested one person  in connection with the case of assaulting   and robbing a man of  his gold chain after barging into a house near Modankaup  recently.

The  arrested person is Praveen K of Kanakabelur in Shivamogga district. The gold chain worth around Rs 75,000 which he had robbed has been seized.

Police have said that another person wanted in this case would soon be arrested.

The incident had occurred on the night of August 8 when  the assailants who entered the house of Janardhana Holla had later escaped after  assaulting him and robbing him of his chain.Holla was hospitalised following injuries.
