Bantwal: Rider killed as sand tipper collides with bike

Bantwal, Dec 22, 2019: A bike rider lost his life while the pillion rider sustained injuries when their two-wheeler was hit by a tipper at Muguli in Karopady village on the Karnataka-Kerala border  on December 22, Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Anwar, a resident of Muguli. The injured bike rider Nawaf has been hospitalised. The sand tipper which was heading towards Kerala collided against tbe bike while negotiating a curve and ran over the two-wheeler.

Locals who gathered at the spot expressed  their anguish over the accident. Vittal Police have registered a case.
