Bantwal : Pandemonium at Bantwal TMC meet over civic issues

Bantwal, April 21, 2015 : The Bantwal municipal council meeting held here on April 20 witnessed pandemonium while holding discussions on various civic issues.

 

Even the alleged use of abusive words by a person against a Councillor, that too right in the presence of the TMC President,  solely for objecting the digging of borewell without any permission also led to uproar in the meeting.

The lady engineer Prabhadevi was taken to task by a Councillor Chanchalakshi for   digging the bore well without taking the latter into confidence.

The meeting even witnessed heated debates over the issue of furnishing information pertaining to distribution o LPG cylinders to those  who do not have connections.

The TMC also came under fire for irregular disposal of garbage with some members blaming the contractors for the same. TMC Chairperson Vasanthi Chandappa chaired the meeting. Yasmeen, TMC Vice President, Leena Britto, Chief Officer and others were present.
