Bantwal : Man run over by train at Amemar

Bantwal, Jun 22, 2018 : A 45 year old man  was found dead on the railway track at Amemar in Pudu village of Bantwal taluk on June 22, Friday morning.

 

The deceased has been identified as Farooq (45), a resident of Amemar. He was a worker at the old port dock in Mangaluru.

It is suspected that he accidentally fell under a train while crossing the track during the wee hours of Friday. Someone who was passing that way had  admitted him to hospital.But he had breathed his last by then.
