Bantwal : Man drowns while bathing in lake with friends

Bantwal, Nov 26, 2018: A man who was bathing in a lake along with friends  at  Kallige in Bantwal taluk on November 25, Sunday night has  reportedly drowned.

The deceased is Sesappa Poojary (55) of Kanappady.   It is learnt that he had  set out with his four friends after  completing field works at around 8 pm.  It is suspected that Sesappa who knew swimming was caught in the slush in the lake bed.

Bantwal Rural  Police are investigating the case.
