Bantwal : Maani resident arrested for assaulting pick-up driver during bundh

 Bantwal, Sep 19, 2018: Vitla Police have arrested a person named Jagga alias Jagadish  of Maani on the charges of assaulting a  pick-up driver for not participating in the recent bundh  against fuel price hike. The incident had occurred at Maani on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway.

 

The victim was hospitalised following the incident and a police complaint was filed at Vitla Police Station.
