Bantwal : KSRTC bus knocks down bike; rider critical

Bantwal, Feb 08, 2018:  A bike rider sustained serious injuries when  a KSRTC bus knocked down his two-wheeler at Jakribettu in B Kasba village on February 8, Thursday.

The injured bike rider has been identified as Ashwith of Belthangady.  The mishap took place when he was on way to his workplace in BC Road. The bus was on way to Mangaluru from Dharmasthala.

The injured Ashwith has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru after initial treatment at a local hospital.

A case has been registered in Melkar Traffic Police Station.
