Bantwal : KSRTC bus fatally knocks down 2 young bike riders

Bantwal, Oct 07, 2018 :  Two young bike riders lost their lives when a KSRTC bus knocked down their two-wheeler at Jakribettu of Bantwal taluk, on the Mangaluru-Dharmasthala National Highway on October 7, Sunday.

The deceased are Charan (18) from Kudupu in Mangaluru and Mohammad Naushad, a resident of Vamadapadavu in Bantwal taluk.

The two were heading towards Karinja from BC Road when the KSRTC bus which went out of control of its driver rammed into their bike.  Both the riders were caught under the bus. Locals who  managed to  get them out  with great difficulty rushed them to a private hospital in Mangaluru where they breathed their last.

Bantwal Traffic Police have registered a case.
