Bantwal : Jewellery worth Rs 12 lakh stolen from house

Bantwal, Oct 07, 2020:   Thieves who broke into a house  near the Amtur mosque in  Karingana near  Kalladka  on Tuesday night have decamped with  jewellery worth Rs 12 lakhs.

 

 

 

The theft occurred in the  house of a person named Sulaiman. The thieves made their way into the house by breaking the  latch of the backdoor and then laid their hands on the 28 sovereigns of gold jewellery.

It is learnt the jewellery belonging to Sulaiman’s daughter  who had recently returned from her husband’s house, which was kept in the cupboard was stolen.

Sniffer squad and finger print experts are at the spot  and further investigations are in progress.
