Bantwal: Fire destroys several coconut, arecanut trees at Kamaje

Bantwal,May 10, 2016 : Several coconut and arecanut trees were destroyed in a fire mishap at Kamaje in Bemooda village on May 9,Monday afternoon. The fire had spread in an eight acre land owned by late Pillai. Luckily no one was hurt in the mishap.

Large tracts of plantations were also destroyed in the fire. Bantwal fire brigade personnel had a tough time in putting out the fire with the help of local youth.
