Bantwal : Cops arrest trio; seize 60 kg beef

Bantwal, July 22, 2019 :  Three persons who were unauthorisedly transporting beef in an autorickshaw were arrested by the police in Punjalakatte police station limits. The autorickshaw as well as the beef has been seized.

 

Those arrested are Riyaz, Razik and Abdul Razak. All of them are said to be residents of the same areas.

Acting on a tip off that a cow was being illegally slaughtered in a place behind a house at Manjal Palke in Kukkala village of Belthangady, the police raided the place and seized 60 kg of beef from the auto.

Further investigations are in progress.
