Bantwal : Cops arrest drug peddler ; seize ganja

Bantwal, June 04, 2019: Bantwal Police have arrested a youth named Samshuddin (25) on the charges of drug peddling.  Police have seized 1.896 kg ganja valued at Rs 40,000 from him. The accused is a resident of Kukkaje in Manchi village and was spotted selling ganja near a garage in B Mooda village. A team of Bantwal cops led by ASI Chandrashekhar H V who acted on a specific information arrested the accused.

 

During interrogation, Samshuddin revealed that he  got the ganja from  a person named Misba of Ullal  with the help of another Uppinangady man.

Police have also seized the mobile phone of the accused. Further investigations are underway.
