Bantwal: Buntara Bhavan inaugurated at Brahmarakootlu

Mangaluru, Oct 30, 2016: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has lauded the enterprising spirit of the Bunt community  and also the progress registered by the community members.

He was speaking at the inaugural function of the  Buntara Bhavan constructed at Brahmarakootlu near BC Road at an estimated cost of Rs 15 crores on October 30, Sunday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister assured to provide an additional grant of Rs 50 lakhs towards the Bhavan.

Earlier, Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D Veerendra Heggade inaugurated Bantara Bhavana and unvieled souvenir "Karajana".


He also said that, Bunts community has progressed and many people in the community are properous, the bunts bhavan was construction by the contribution of such people, the chief minister however reminded that although every community needs a bhavan, human beings are social beings too. They should not confine themselves to their communities but should mingle with the entire society. 


He further stated that, bunts community need to contribute to the development of other communities and the entire society is large.


A host of dignitaries including DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai,   State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies UT Khader, Chief Whip of State Legislative Council Ivan D’Souza, MLA of Mangaluru South JR Lobo and others attended the function.
