Bantwal : 3 sand smuggling trucks seized ; trio arrested

Bantwal, Nov 03, 2017: Vittal Police have arrested three persons on the  charges of sand smuggling  near Kannaya on November 3, Friday morning.  Three trucks have been seized from the accused identified as Abdul Ravoof from Belthangady, Khaleel of Derlakatte and Harish of Mangaluru.

 

The  arrested persons have told the police t hat sand was being smuggled towards Kerala in order to sell them at a higher price. Further investigations are in progress.
