Bantwal: 3 injured as lorry hits car

Bantwal, Feb 12, 2019: Three persons including a child sustained injuries when the car in which they were travelling was hit by a lorry at Kemraje near Kanyana on February 11, Monday. A newlywed pair which was travelling in the car escaped unhurt.
 

After the wedding at Maratimoole in Kanyana, the groom and the bride were heading towards Paivalike when  the accident took place.

The front portion of the car was mangled due to the impact of the collision.

Locals who gathered at the spot expressed anguish that lorries carrying jelly stone powder which frequent the area were responsible for such mishaps.
