Bannanje Man who died at Udupi hospital tests negative for Covid-19

Udupi, May 18,2020:   The throat swab test of a 44 year old man from Bannanje who died on Saturday night at the District   Hospital, has come out negative for Covid-19.

 

Earlier, there was a suspicion that this man  might have contracted Covid-19 considering the fact that he was suffering from fever, cold and cough  since three days prior to his death.

As the Covid-19 test has come out negative, his body was handed over to his relatives by the authorities.

Meanwhile, the cremation of a man from Kundapur who died at Manipal Hospital and was later tested positive for Covid-19 was performed at the Beedinagudde Crematorium on Sunday as per the protocol.
