Baliga murder case : Activists to protest in front of MLA Lobo’s residence

Mangaluru, June 04, 2016: The Desha Premi Sanghatanegala Okkuta which is fighting for justice in the  RTI activist Vinayak Baliga murder case has decided to intensify its agitation.

It  has now decided to  stage  a protest in front of the residence of MLA of Mangaluru South JR Lobo on June 6 at 10.30 am. Prior to this, a protest march will be taken out from Balmatta Collector’s Gate to the MLA’s residence, informed Muneer Katipalla, Convenor of the Federation.

Muneer has alleged that the Police Department has completely failed to arrest the prime accused Naresh Shenoy even two months after the  murder.

 Shenoy who is evading arrest  was however making constant efforts to secure bail, he said and added that the June 6 protest will be held with the joint co-operation of the DYFI, Dalita Sangharsha Samithi, SFI, Rationalists Forum and other organisations.
