Addressing media persons in his office this morning prior to meeting a delegation of GSB community leaders, he said that investigation is in full swing to detain Naresh Shenoy, Srikanth, Shailesh and Vignesh. “They are changing their hideout regularly in different states. This is the reason for the delay in apprehending them,” he said.

When asked whether it is true that issues relating to Shree Venkatramana Temple is the cause of the murder, the commissioner declined to reveal the motive of the crime. “We have collected all primary and physical evidence. It is ideal if some more information is collected from the accused after arresting them before we can establish the motive,” he said.

M Chandrashekar also asserted that his department has observed that some interested parties want to settle their own scores by spreading disinformation about the progress of the case. “We are exploring necessary legal options against such people,” he said.
