Bajrangdal activists try to picket Congress leader Ivan D’Souza’s residence

Mangaluru, Oct 20, 2021: Bajrangdal activists tried to picket the residence of Congress leader Ivan D’Souza in the city on October 20, Wednesday in protest against the latter’s alleged statement that the  Bajrangdal  activists were resorting to unethical works wearing saffron clothes and that they were extortionists.

The Mangaluru South (Pandeshwar) police who rushed to the spot, foiled the attempt of the activists. As many as eight Bajrangdal activists  were detained by the police.

Ivan was not at home during the incident as he  presently is in Hanagal of Haveri district, busy campaiging for the bye-elections.
