Bajrangdal activists intercept cattle trafficking lorry ; 9 cows rescued

Belthangady, July 29, 2020:    Bajrangdal activists who intercepted a  lorry   which was transporting  cattle in an inhuman way near the Ram Mandir at Kanyadi in Dharmasthala village on July 28, Tuesday night have handed over the cattle and the three accused to the  police.

Those who have been arrested are Abdul Salam (30) of Andinje village, M Akbar (26)  and Sanjeeva Poojary (41) of Savya village.

A total of eight cows and a buffalo have been rescued while the lorry used by the accused to smuggle the cattle has also been seized.
