Bajpe man arrested for issuing death threat to outgoing DC Sindhu Rupesh

Mangaluru, July 29, 2020:    Police have  arrested  one person on the charges of issuing death threat to outgoing Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh on social media.

 

The Moodbidri police had registered a suo moto case on the issue and arrested Ranjith, a resident of Bajpe.

The threat on social media was issued close on the heels of Sindhu Rupesh issuing a warning of legal action with reference to cases of assault on cattle transporters.

Later, in a sudden development Sindhu Rupesh was transferred.
