Bajpe cops arrest man wanted in many theft cases

Mangaluru, Feb 23, 2024: Bajpe Police have arrested a man wanted in as many as four theft cases and have recovered stolen goods from him.

The arrested person is Pratap of Mooduperara village. A cash of Rs 10,000, four bags of peeled arecanut worth Rs 2 lakhs, an autorickshaw worth Rs 2 lakhs and other goods have been seized from him.

 

The police who were investigating the theft of Rs 40,000 cash from the residence of Janardhana Gowda of Mithakolapila on February 13 arrested Pratap on suspicion. Interrogation of the accused revealed that he was wanted in many theft cases.
