Bagalkot man found hanging near Kadri Jogi Mutt

Mangalore, May 20, 2013 : A  labourer hailing from Bagalkot was found hanging from a tree  in a forest area near the Kadri Jogi Mutt on May 20, Monday morning.

 

 

 

 

Some sources said the person was earlier found sitting on the steps in the same  area and someone from the Jogi Mutt had even  asked him to go home.

 As per a mobile number found in the person of the deceased,  it has come to light that he was Yellappa hailing from Bagalkot. It is learnt, all other families from Bagalkot which were staying near Jogi Mutt had left to their native place for a festival, but Yellappa had stayed back.

The cause of the suicide is not known.Kadri police have registered a case.
