Baby found dead in Pachchanady dump yard

Mangalore, November 13: The dead body of a baby was found in the MCC’s dump yard at Pachchanady on Nov 12, Friday. People came to know of it when garbage collected near the old bus stand was being unloaded by a dumping lorry. Since the body has already decomposed, the sex of the baby cannot be ascertained.

 

 

 

 

It may be recalled that a few days back, a baby girl was found abandoned in a drain at Kanyana, Bantwal, and was rescued by a labourer called Monappa Shetty. However, the baby girl was alive in this case.

The people of the locality were furious because authorities did not visit the spot even after being informed about the incident.
