Baal Shakti Puraskar for Uppinangady lad

Mangaluru, Jan 13, 2019: A budding young scientist from Uppinangady  has been chosen for the prestigious Baal Shakti Puraskar 2018 given by the Government of India in recognition of his  research and achievements in the field of science.  He is  A U Nachiketh Kumar, a first PUC student of Indraprastha PU College of Uppinangady.

 

Nachiket  has bagged the silver medal at ISWEEEP-2017, an Environmental Science Fair held at Texas in the US where he   presented his research project on using  Sambar fruit juice instead of chemicals  in the manufacture of rubber sheets.  He has even bagged  gold medals in the national and divisional level at the INSEF Research Fair.
