BJP workers turn to Goddess Mookambika to save Yeddy

Udupi, Oct 22, 2011 : The friends and supporters of former CM B. S. Yeddyurappa conducted Chandika Yaga in Kollur on Friday for his speedy release from jail.

The yaga was conducted in Kollur by Ganeshprasad Shetty, along with several BJP activities, under the leadership of MLA K. Laxminarayana.

 

Mr. Shetty told reporters that Yeddyurappa has a lot of faith in Kollur Mukambika. Stating that the goddess is aware of the circumstances owing to which Yeddyurappa is now in jail, he said that the goddess will favor him and help him come out of jail.

MLA Laxminaryana said that Yeddyurappa had to go to jail because of a conspiracy hatched by the opposition parties. He said that he should be released so that he can celebrate Diwali with his family, friends, and BJP workers.
