BJP takes to Yakshagana to woo voters, campaign CD released

Mangalore, Mar 13, 2014: With Lok Sabha elections just a few days away, political parties will leave no stone unturned in their efforts to woo the voters.

The BJP on its part has decided to resort to Yakshagana style campaigning this time.  The Party’s campaign CD was released on March 13, Thursday in the presence of several leaders including party candidate and sitting MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

The 16 songs in the CD have been penned and presented by Siddakatte Vishwanath Shetty while the Bhagavathike is by Patla Satish Shetty. Prashanth Shetty and Lava Kumar are the Chende and Maddale artistes. 

District BJP President Pratap Simha Nayak, Capt. Ganesh Karnik, MLC, Satish Kumpala and others were present on the occasion.
