Mangaluru, June 14, 2018: Former minister B Ramanatha Rai has alleged that the BJP men had continued with their well planned malicious propaganda against him even after he lost the elections.

Ramanatha Rai.jpSpeaking to reporters at the District Congress Office on June 14, Thursday he said "Winning and losing is part of elections. Though all the previous seven Congress legislators had done good work, the anti-propaganda by  the BJP to conceal the good works of the Congress leaders proved detrimental. They are now continuing with anti-propaganda against me," he alleged.

"The anti-propaganda against me is not new. But it is not proper to  remain quiet on my part. First  there was anti-propaganda that I stopped mid-day meal to Kalladka  school, then my name was dragged in Sharath Madiwala  murder case.  When I appealed to Kanattur Daivasthana, I was mocked. Recently my name was linked even to some untoward incidents in Bantwal. Everyone knows who are my confidantes. Still  my name is dragged unnecessarily," he said.

MLC and DCC Chief Harish Kumar,  Mayor Bhasker Moily, former MUDA Chairman Ibrahim Kodijal,  Chief Whip of MCC Shashidhar Hegde and others were present.
