BJP stages protest; demands NIA probe into Santosh murder

Mangaluru, Feb 03, 2018: The South Block BJP unit staged a protest in front of the DC office here on February 2, Friday demanding an NIA probe into the murder of BJP worker Santosh in Bengaluru.

 

Speaking on  the occasion, former MLC Monappa Bhandary alleged that  the son of a Block Congress leader was involved in the murder. On the government contention that  the murder took place over a drugs issue, he demanded why in that case the government was not launching a crackdown on drugs menace.

Vedavyas Kamath, President of South Block BJP, Roopa D Bangera, Harikrishna Bantwal and others participated in the protest.

Later, they handed over a memorandum to the Governor through the DC  highlighting their demand.
