BJP stages protest demanding Minister George’s resignation

Mangaluru, Sep 16,2017 :  District unit of the BJP  staged a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on September 16, Saturday  to pressurise  State Minister K J George to quit in the wake of the  Supreme Court  ordering a CBI probe into the DySP Ganapathi suicide case.

 

 

 

Sanjeev Matandoor, District BJP President who addressed the protestors accused the CM of shielding George by ordering a CID probe into the case earlier, despite  the DySP  clearly naming the minister and accusing him of harassment in an interview prior to his death.

 BJP General Secretary Capt. Brijesh Chowta,  Devadas Shetty,  Monappa Bhandari, Kishore Rai, Vedavyas Kamath  were present among others.
