BJP national president Amit Shah arrives in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Feb 19, 2018: BJP national president Amit Shah arrived in the city in the late evening on Monday, February 19. BJP leaders from Dakshina Kannada accorded a warm welcome to Shah at the airport.

A large number of party workers were present to welcome their national leader. Tight security was deployed. Sources said that due to the delay in his arrival, he had to cancel his speech.

Shah was scheduled to land at Mangaluru International Airport at 5.30 pm, but the flight was delayed by two hours. He arrived at the airport at around 7.30 pm.

Among those present were MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, former minister Krishna J Palemar, BJP district president Sanjeeva Matandoor, former minister Nagaraj Shetty, Badrinath Kamath, Vedavyas Kamath, Sanjay Prabhu, M B Puranik and others.
