BJP leader’s grandson dies in horrific car accident at Nanthur

Mangaluru, Mar 23, 2024: A youth lost his life after his car went out of control and rammed into the divider at Nantur late night on Friday.

 

 

 

The deceased is Shamith Shetty (29) alias Bunty, grandson of senior BJP leader Lalitha Sunder. Shamith died on the spot.

Shamith was returning to his house at Thokkottu after participating in a Daiva Kola at a friend’s house.  The intensity of the collision of the car with the divider was such that even the iron fencing was damaged and the car badly mangled.

Shamith’s father had died a few years ago.
