BJP leader Jagadish Acharya Kaup passes away

Udupi, Apr 30, 2016: A  tragic report states, Jagadish Acharya Kaup (51), a BJP leader and former member of taluk panchayat passed away a few days after he met with an accident at Kaup.  Jagadish met with an accident on April 24 and was admitted to Manipal Hospital, but succumbed on Apr 28, Thursday.

Jagadish was the director of Udupi Taluk Industrial Cooperative Society, Kaup Vikas Credit Cooperative Society and Kaup Credit Sauharda Cooperative (Ltd). He was the general secretary of BJP unit in Kaup and also served in various other organizations.  Jagadish is survived by his mother, wife and two sons.

It is learnt that he met with an accident in May last year and was still recovering when the tragedy struck.
